Business Analyst (Process Mapping)

Background:

Faze 3 Consulting is a digital transformation consultancy that helps clients review and refine their digital transformation strategy, develop a benefits-driven roadmap for solution development, and ensures best practice in establishing an effective Program Management Office (PMO), Program delivery and Project management capability.

Faze 3 are currently supporting a leading organization in the Offshore Marine Services industry in transforming their business and data architecture, and we require a freelance Business Analyst for an initial period of 2 months, with an immediate start. The role is full-time (Mon-Fri) and is based on site at the clients premises in Abu Dhabi.

 

Role Overview:
The Business Analyst (Process Mapping) will support the development of the Integrated Business Process Management (IBPM) framework, conduct workflow analyses, and identify integration opportunities. You will focus on gathering, documenting, and analyzing As-Is process maps and detailed Work Instructions to drive process optimization and support program delivery. Additionally, you will work collaboratively with the client to ensure the success of the Program, aligning efforts with the client’s strategic objectives for operational excellence and scalability.

 

Key Responsibilities:

·         Assist in the creation and refinement of the IBPM framework by mapping and analyzing current business processes.

·         Conduct detailed workflow analyses to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.

·         Perform gap analyses to evaluate discrepancies between current and desired operational states.

·         Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and document requirements for process standardization and integration.

·         Develop and maintain documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and process maps.

·         Identify opportunities for automation and digital transformation within workflows.

·         Provide data and insights to support the decision-making process of the Senior Business Analyst / PM.

 

Qualifications and Skills Required:

·         Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.

·         Ideally 5+ years of experience in business analysis, process mapping, or workflow optimization.

·         Familiarity with tools for business process mapping and workflow analysis (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, or ARIS).

·         Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.

·         Excellent communication and documentation abilities, with experience working in cross-functional teams.
