Faze 3 Consulting is working with a world leader in Professional Education who is continuing to grow rapidly in the GCC region. In supporting this growth, we are seeking to bring on board experienced freelance instructors, with an educational background and expertise in Data Science, Visualization, Machine Learning, NLP, Deep Learning and Data Analysis. Successful candidates will deliver short courses and longer data science bootcamps on these topics to major clients in Saudi Arabia, UAE, and other locations with the Gulf region - mainly in-person but also online in some cases. We are actively planning for our upcoming training programs, so we are interested in candidates able to put forward suitable CVs.

Experience required

• With a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject, you will also ideally have a Master’s degree and/or PhD in Data Science or closely related topic.

• Experience as a data science instructor and working experience in data science, data engineering, or artificial intelligence

• Experience in the delivery of both short and longer duration courses

• Experience in developing and delivering training courses using a variety of media, including learning management systems

• Advanced IT skills including Microsoft Office applications

• Excellent organizational skills

• Excellent presentation skills – written and verbal

• Fluency in English is mandatory, ideally also fluent in Arabic

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Excellent stakeholder management skills including senior management

• Ability to work under pressure and to specified deadlines

• Team player – able to build strong working relationships with colleagues and other stakeholders.

Skills & Knowledge required

We are looking for people with an advanced-level knowledge of data science and artificial intelligence. This should include the following:

• Exploratory Data Analysis using SQL and Python for advanced data manipulation and visualization

• Mathematics fundamentals for Data Science - including Boolean logic, and Statistical distributions, inference, and correlation.

• Linear Regression and Webscraping

• Machine Learning

• Data Visualization

• Data Classification, Evaluation and real-world applications

• Unsupervised Learning Theory

• Natural Language Processing

• Neural Networks, Embeddings and Convolutional Neural Networks

• Deep Learning methods for modelling of sequential data

• Databases and Big Data

• Knowledge of Cloud computing
